Al Tipton
Al was born and raised in Kingsport and has lived here his entire life. He is employed at a local chemical manufacturing company and has worked shift work there for several years. His passion for personal defense and home security came about a few years ago when an attempted break-in occurred at his home. From that point forward he has been driven to learn strategies for personal protection and home defense and wants to share this knowledge with others as a personal safety training instructor. Al has obtained instructor certifications with the NRA as a Basic Pistol instructor, the State of Tennessee as a Handgun Safety Instructor and is also an affiliate firearms instructor with USCCA. Al is also a Tennessee Armed Guard and uses his certification in work relating to that job. He is an NRA certified Refuse To Be A Victim instructor and loves teaching options for personal safety in Refuse To Be A Victim seminars. Al also volunteers his time as a Patrol Leader with Trail Life USA.
Lee Peace
Lee is a EMT Advanced with the State of Tennessee and has 11 years of life saving experience working for a local EMS agency as a Rescue Technician. Lee has gone through rigorous training during his time spent working as a EMT-A performing his duties under the most stressful situations such as extrication of patients in vehicle crashes, swift water rescue situations, and high angle rope rescue situations. He fulfills the duty as the Search and Rescue Team leader which makes him a great asset to X-Treme Vigilance for his ability to be a great instructor. Lee has attended top rated and highly sought after handgun courses to expand his knowledge of the science behind handgun shooting. Lee brings back this knowledge and passes it along to all the students who attend X-Treme Vigilance courses by sharing his techniques. Lee also serves as X-Treme Vigilance's in house graphic designer with his great artistic skills.
